Weirdest thing I've seen for awhile,I was looking through nickel rolls today and found a decent 1974,when I turned it over to check if there were any steps ,Jeffersons head was looking at me..I dont have anyway to weigh it but I checked the diameter it is very close to some other 70 's nickels.maybe a few thousands smaller..The way coins are struck aren't the obverse and reverse punched at the same time? The FS initials are in the right place .I mean the coins perfect except its doubled. If its a counerfeit ,somebody went to a lot of trouble.I'm going to take it to the coin shop tomorrow and see what they say.

It is probably a trick coin I saw someone with one of those a long time ago. That way when someone is doing a coin toss they just always call heads and always win.

Well I thought I really had something special,I was going to take it into the coin shop tomorrow but couldnt wait.Took the coin in and they got a big laugh out of it.It is a Trick or Magician coin. The coin shop said a few companys take coins and put them in a lathe and hollow one out and machine the other down and fit them together some how..They did a good job on the one I got..

I've never run across one, or if I did, didn't know it. Enjoy!

It might not be special as a variety or error, but it is still a nice find.

I have a trick coin Kennedy half dollar I got at a gas station one day when I asked if they had any half dollars. It has 1995 P on one side and 1995 D on the other. I didn't say anything because I thought it was cool.

I've found 2 Kennedy half magician coins with 2 heads.

I traded one to a teller who saved a 1964 Kennedy for me (it does pay to bribe the banks with donuts and pizza)
