Ok so I have a 1938 Large Cent on ebay. I am a newbie at coins and did not know there was a difference on Coronet, Matron and Classic till I saw the listings on the side menu here. Soo after taking a look, I am still unsure which one I have. I listed my ebay listing as Coronet but I am afraid I am wrong hence the zero bids on it. Here are scans of the obverse and reverse. Can you please help me identify this so I can correct my ebay auction title and description? Thanks!

The 1838 is the modified bust of the Matron Head.
(1837-1839)
I suggest that you should pick up a Red Book (Guide Book of US coins).
It is an excellent reference, especially for identifying type coins.

If those are the pictures you are using on ebay, they are too dark. You need to lighten them up so some detail can be seen in the coin.
