Hello,
I'm fairly new to CC and am learning about Mercury dimes.
I came across this one and would like to get some input as to
whether it is just damaged(from a punch of some sort) or a strike error. The damage is just inside the rim and is fairly consistent along it. Sorry about the pics - best I could get. No apparent damage to the reverse.
Thanks

Possible damage from a counting machine or a coin dispenser that turns. (IE Gumball Machine)
