Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Die crack or PMD?

I have a 1918D with a die crack through the date and have seen 1924 all mints with die cracks through the date but I have never seen a recessed date SLQ with a die crack.

Sellers pics as the ones I tried to take did not do it justice.

Looks like a die crack to me, right before the whole date area turns into a Cud now that would be something. With this coin you might be able to prove the date through the die progression, very cool! Scratches on reverse are PMD though.

I would have completely missed it as I have been trying not to buy any coins and have not been searching the 'Bay regularly but I decided to throw out a search for Standing quarter and this one popped up with 7 minutes left. The only reason it caught my attention was the preview photo that shows up in the main search list was the close up of the date with the crack due to the selling uploading that photo first instead of the usual obverse shot.
