Hi All, Found this from the bank today just in change, Has the 2013 coins been released yet into circulation or is this possibly from a mint set?   These pics were just taken from my phone and reduced in size to upload, they do not really do the coin justice although it is by far the shiny-est coin I've ever come by. |

Thanks for the confirmation, any idea on value?
even though it had its time circulating I cant see any marks on it, possibly 1-2 very small when caught on a camera flash.
That makes 3 rare finds on my list so far haha, will keep looking.

Disagree with the mint set.... Was at my local shop yesterday and the shop keeper cracked open a bag full of new 2013 $2. they are out there in circulation, I was surprised to see them so soon!

That is weird because the newest I have found here in the west is the 2010 $2 coins  |

I always buy the Mint and Proof sets so that I have all the coins from a particular year. However it would be nice to find either the 2011 or the 2012 coins in my change  |

I scored quite a few of the "Poppy" coins before they got bashed about in circulation I would imagine those left out there would be pretty ordinary by now  |
