If you are talking about the area between 3 and 6 o'clock I think it is a Retained Cud or at least a big die crack

yes that is what I am talking about. Does this change value of the coin? It is in a PCGS holder VF20 They did not mention this on the label of slab. Thanks

Technically not a Cud as that requires a piece missing from the die. What I'd do is seek out a coin that has a Cud in the same spot and display the two together, kind of like a before and after picture.

Correction- Still a Cud if there, but it must be distinctly broken not just cracked. IE, hanging or held by the collar.

I wish I could take a better picture for you. this was from an iphone that I basically do not own and don't know how to use well. I have tried macro setting on a digital camera we have and that is frustrating as well. Coins are very much the hardest thing I have ever tried to take pictures of.

ok I took a better photo but size is too big to go over. I will try to use photobucket later.
