I'm not too familiar with Walker mintmarks. Does this 1916-D look okay? Seems like an odd shape mintmark to me. I'm thinking of buying it. I posted some pics below. I'm not sure if its VF, I think it doesn't quite have enough detail, but very close....opinions? Also, do surfaces look original?

Considering the mint mark is supposed to be on the reverse in the lower left side, no, it does not look legit.

Possible broken mm punch or die chip. I think it is ok. @skyshark....the mm was on the front for 1916 and half of 1917.

Wow, good catch. I just saw the mint mark location and it didn't even sink in what the year was. My bad. Considering the mint marks IS on the right side for this year, I think it's probably ok too. I'm thinking it's time I go to bed.

Coin looks ok to me. I would give it a F-15...very close to VF. I think the MM looks weird due to the scratch that runs west to east and goes right through the center of the MM.
overall nice pleasing better date coin.

Mintmark may show slight damage but is almost certainly legit. The Denver issue for 1916 is priced about the same as the Philly coin so there wouldn't be much incentive to add a D to a Philadelphia piece.

I'd agree with F-15 and surfaces look OK.
