I show a value of 17,500.00 on Coin World. Had I that kind of money, I would not go over 25. It is way too much IMO.

Theyre are only 8 of them from PCGS, but that bidding seems to be really high already. Imo its one of those coins that can just as easily go for 30k as it could for 50k depending on the bidders at the moment with absolutely no guarantee of making money much less getting your money back if you sold it. Anytime you deal with coins of that value the buying base is so small its hard to predict how it will react. If you look at some auction histories of coins of comparable value youll usually see that some sellers made money and some lost from the previous result with no way to predict which one youd be

It does seem high, but if your looking long term investment. IMO 5yrs you would have to see a nice return.
Simply cause 5 yrs from now we'll be paying $10 for a loaf of bread....lol

Well the way I see it, there are 35,000 total mintage of these coins, and only 20,000 5oz Denali ATB's , so I'll probably go for the Denali ..............

Whoever won that was deadset on getting that coin. He fended off a bidding war from at least 4 different buyers bidding multiple times

And to think, I just paid 25 dollars for a mint cased 1998 proof ASE. What was I thinking? I should have paid at least 20K. Maybe next time.
