I purchase coins on both e-bay & yahoo so this is a little disappointing. Though the site had its problems it was one of the few competitive alternatives to e-bay. Wouldn't be shocked if ebay raises rates. Here's the message I got from yahoo:
quote:Yahoo! US and Canada Auctions sites are retiring on June 16, 2007!
After careful consideration, we have decided to close down our Yahoo! US and Canada Auction sites to better serve our valued customers through other Yahoo! properties.
Please Note: This does not impact leading Yahoo! Auction sites in Hong Kong | Singapore | Taiwan
The US and Canada Auctions sites will close June 16, 2007. We will continue to provide our sellers, bidders, and buyers with quality customer care and a limited set of features and tools through October 29, 2007.
I am actually surprised they haven't attempted an auction site. The company already has millions of users for its search engine and e-mail accounts (which is the best e-mail program in the world BTW)
I'd prefer it. When Google does something, it's basic, simple, and to the point.

I'm sure it's on the way. Google Base was the first step. Google Checkout was the second. Google is very patient and methodical.

Gotta disagree there. I was going to time their email server but I couldn't find a calender. I had to take it out of my Outlook and stop using it. I have 12 email accounts that Outlook fetches. 11 of them download in a total of 2 seconds. Gmail takes at least 15 alone and times out half the time. They need more hardware.
