AU58, looks like some rubbing on the obverse, but it has very nice luster. Nice piece!!

Although there may be slight dulling of luster in the obverse fields overall there is enough to qualify for unc. I'd guess MS-62, limited by the small hits in front of Liberty's chin and on her neck and nose, plus a rim hit below E of FIVE.

Decent type coin, but not a premium-quality example.

Nice coin. The 1886-S Liberty $5 BU was my first gold coin, purchased it in 1965 for $20.

my first was a 1924 Saint I bought in 1967, for $65.
years later I sent it in to anacs -- it came back in a MS-65 holder!

i sold it a number of years ago. I do have a picture I scanned into the computer
