I have an almost complete (missing only 3 coins) Morgan silver dollar collection, and some family medical emergencies have arisen, and I want to sell it to help out. I obviously would like to get the most I can for it, and am honestly unsure how to go about selling it. Would ebay be the place? or are there any good storefronts in the DFW, Texas area that I could sell to in person? I even have no problem splitting it up if that will help out. Anyways, really just looking for advice here, so I appreciate any responses. Thank you! Mike

Great! Yea, I'd prefer to sell local obviously, but do need to sell them quick. I'm interested to hear what he says, and if all else fails, I'll split them all up on ebay I guess.

michaelkih! Sorry you are having to liquidate, but totally get where you're coming from, I did much of the same for my father a few years ago when his Parkinson's got bad. Family can't be replaced, they should always come first. I'd be happy to help you if possible. First shoot me a message from my profile to the left. We could probably get a start with a few emails or phone calls. Then you can go from there. I'm in North Dallas, Texas area, Plano to be exact. One thing we'd want to be sure is that you don't leave any money on the table, especially if any of your dollars are good VAM variaties (which can bring considerable more money than the same date and mint mark dollar without the variety), and I would asume you want to move them fairly quickly so as to have access to funds to help with your family emergency. Anyways, I'll keep an eye out for an message, send me your email or phone number with best time to reach you. I do know of a few dealers/people that can easily pay cash for what you have locally and nationally. But let's see what you have and I'll make some recommendations to you, that hopefully will help you maximize your return in a quick sale if choose to do so.
