Can someone explain to me the difference between a type one and type two quarter planchet ? I have a blank but not sure which one. It does have a copper core and small rim also....Thanks !

I believe the type 1 planchets are just disks, where the type 2 have the raised rims on them.

I think Type 1 are technically Blanks and Type 2 with uspet rims are palnchets.
