I try not to carry any coins at all. When I get any change, I put them in a drawer and look through them later. Just don't like carrying extra weight.

Got this Ike at a bank at the beach when I was on vacation with my wife and kids a few years ago. I have carried it ever since.

I used to carry an Eisenhower dollar for a long time, but I do not have a pocket piece at this time.

Hondo .......... That's the exact same one I carry. Put it in my pocket a while back, so I would never be without at least a dollar in my pocket. Now it is a good luck charm, a security blanket, a favorite pet. Oh ......... the stories me and Ike could tell ..............

I carry a 1976 bronze National Bicentennial medal. I've carried it for a few years - it's starting to show some real signs of wear.

I've been carrying a 1923 Peace dollar on my keychain since 1954. It was AU but holed when I got it, and now it's so smooth that hardly anything on it is legible.

I don't carry a pocket piece per say... Not just a loose coin in my pocket at least. The way I see it, Anything I really like I would never risk loosing... And if I really don't "love" it then I don't see a reason carrying it with me all the time... But that's just me, to much risk for loss, heck I loose things much bigger than coins all the time, lol, so I won't risk anything not attached. That being said... I do carry a 1958d Wheat penny in my Irish lucky horseshoe keychain, that my grandpa gave this to me when I used to collect coins with him before his passing in 1992 (he gave it to me in 1987/88ish) and it's been with me since and always will be (and I'm Irish so that's a bonus ) I know the coin is nothing too special and these "horseshoes" are common as well, but from my gramps its valuable to me. But as for a loose pocket piece.. No way.

I've decided on a dedicated pocket piece. I got a 2011 silver Philharmonic for $35 (so impatient) a couple months ago and it had fingerprints (last one in stock, too)!! They had actually toned into the silver! I was so annoyed that I gave it a harsh cleaning, but nothing happened. So to get revenge, I'm wearing it down into a nice lowball. I wonder how the design will look in a few months?

Mine is kind of a default piece I picked up several months ago. I used to carry a walking half and it doubled as my ball marker when I played golf. I since bagged that - so to speak and hadn't had a coin I carried. One of the guys I work with asked about the Presidential dollars - he hadn't even known they existed and I brought in a John Adams - that I had in an airtite... and it has been in my pocket for the last 6 months now.

I don't carry a pocket piece but I do use a 1908-O Barber Half that oih82w8 sold me that he had listed as a "pocket piece". I use it to mark my ball when I play golf,
