Always wondered, how many people carry pocket pieces ?
And what do you carry ?
Mine is a Bicentennial Ike.

I used to carry a 1907 Phillipines Peso. Several months back I lost it. I'm pretty sure it slipped out of my pocket when I sat down somewhere. I've got another coin & a token I'm considering. That's if I can get the nerve to carry again after I lost the last one.

I've got three Ikes at the moment that I carry in the my Fob pocket (that small, right hand front pocket of jeans) along with the Halves and Goldens that I spend.

I used to carry a 2002 Canadian penny just to see how it toned from AU state. It got blackened in the recessed areas and I would constantly rub it. I think I accidentally spent it by mixing it with the rest of my change one day.

Here's my current one. Picked out of local WBGS junk bin at spot about 6 months back. It has developed a nice circulated cameo since then. I need to get current pics uploaded. I used to have a tendency to carry some of my pocket pieces a little too long as evidenced by two of my previous threads. I'm sure if these were slobbed (RIP biggfredd) they would be POP1 lowballs. https://goccf.com/t/134523#1203132https://goccf.com/t/135331

I thought that only I did this, and I'd always get this tenuous feeling of guilt...
I like carrying my 2011 silver Philharmonic. When I got it, it had these nasty fingerprints on it (and to think I still bought it for $6 over spot, grr) so I vowed to ding it up until the fingerprints were no longer the ugliest thing about the coin. I also find a surprising amount of really worn silver in bargain world coin bins for way below spot (latest find: silver Irish shilling for 20 cents, date reads ?3?) and these usually get triumphantly carried in my pocket for the next week or so.

Nope, don't carry one. Too afraid it will roll out.
Jeffrose, I could have sworn that was my coin. I have one that looks almost identical to it. I will post a picture of it later today.

Currently: 1962 Franklin half, 1947 Jefferson nickel, and 1929 LWC - one silver, one nickel, one copper. Now if I can get up the nerve to carry a gold coin, I'd have one of each different material.

Not always. But I do have one I sometimes carry and oddly, it's a US coin. A leap-year Mercury dime.

I have a beat up Walking Liberty half that I carry. This is the 2nd one. The previous one got misplaced, or maybe lost - haven't seen it for a year.

I had a worn Morgan dollar in my car for a while. Nice to handle and a conversation piece for passengers.
