this picture in my Krause is not sharp, but your coin resembles

India- British, Madras Presidency
KM 327 1/2 DUB (10 Cash,1/2 Falus)
5.15 grams, Copper 22.7 mm
and the design I found only lists 1807 as a date

Hello rooneydog
Stephen Here,
I tried to send you an email but this site wouldn't let me , at times I find it difficult to see my posts.

I was wondering if you had used this site that was in your post or was it just as a reference:

http://www.icollector.com/
If so do you know is it legitimate?

Thank you
Stephen.

Hi andyg
If it is the site that ended auction yesterday, I wanted to buy it but it was too expensive for me.

These are very scarce type coins, and when I noticed it I wasn't at all surprised with the price. The seller with these pictures I think "yosser1945", but I thought it ended before yesterday?

This one does not seem to be a coin as it looks. On the lower image the script written on the periphery in circle is Tamil that reads something like " companiar" on the left (meaning Company but not East India Company) and "pottavuraitappu" on the right. The linear legend inside the line of circle is in Telugu. This most probably is a token struck imitating EIC coins of Madras Presidency.
