You can order by size on many sites. Should be
32.5 mm for 1794-1836
30.6 mm for 1836-1916
30-31 mm for 1916 - present

I know I have seen 2-1/2x2-1/2s on ebay.

As far as I know they have never made "direct fit" 2X2's for the early half dollars. One problem would be that you can't do it. Since the early half dollars were struck with open collars the coins aren't all the same size and can vary by up to a mm or more between coins of the same year. They would have to make them for the largerest coin they are likely to run across and most of the others would then be smaller than the hole in the 2X2. Frankly I tend to prefer them in the dollar size holder because you ace see the lettered edge that way. In fact I prefer all of my coins in the next size larger 2X2 because I think they look better with a little space around them.

I use the non pvc flips.....one size fits all.
