Tetromibi - As far as I know you should be able to put together basic type set without anything being that rare.

Buy the two coin set which is currently on sale. $139.95

Buy the single proof coin which is on sale. £57.95

That takes care of 3 of the coins.

Since you are in the US you should be able to find the standard bullion American Eagle without much fuss.

I would have to leave it to the other folks on here to speak about the burnished one, since I am in the UK.

Ken

..probably this week! (Monday's counter update)

Its possible, sales died pretty hard in the middle of the ordering period on the last set with a surge at the end, but this one did start out a lot stronger. I wont be the least bit surprised if this one ends up with the highest mintage of them all

The US Mint product page says the last day total is 251,695. This is amazingly close to the 2012 last day sales total of 251,302. However, last year's final total ended up at 224,981 sets sold. I'm guessing that was due to speculators cancelling orders after the total got to a 1/4 million. It'll be interesting to see what this year's total ends up at.

TJB17....I'm curious as to why you felt the need to resurrect 2 threads that are a month old to make 5 live threads on the same subject?...and post the same thing in both

FWM, in case someone saw one and not the other. I was not aware of how many "live" threads there are on the topic. The two I posted my updates in were the only two on the subject that I have been watching, i.e., saved in my bookmarks. It's a moot point anyway. I posted that response too early on the 6th. The total ended over 280K with more than 29K sets bought on the last day for some reason.
