Picked this up at the LCS today. It was in an MS66 NAC holder (!) and I had no hesitation cracking it out of that. I know it isn't even close to that, and that this issue is often seen on the weak side, but my guess is more AU55-58. It only cost me a few dollars over melt, so I didn't lose. What say ye?

The coin is AU-55 (details) with obvious rub on the high points. Soft strike but still had some wear and was most likely cleaned at some point.

I agree that it looks like a AU-55/58 but it may have been a little bit overdipped.

Check that last 7 in the date for any signs of the overdate variety. I'd go ef/AU on this coin. More AU as the luster looks like it's still there mostly.

I checked the 7 when I got the coin; unfortunately it's normal.
