My coin shop has this nickel and I really like it but I don't know how much that the damage hurts the value. The damage is from a coin counting machine it isn't to severe but its still very noticeable. Sorry that they aren't the best pics but they are the best I could get at the coin shop. What would you experts put a value on it it's never been cleaned just the damage.

Not too many current auction listings on Heritage but there was a good details damaged NCS slab on there that sold for 253 in 2008...also saw a couple G4 details scratched sell for around $400

I don't think it's a bad price. Contursi has an MS66 on ebay for half a million if you want to upgrade a little.

Shame on anyone who would throw a 1918/7 into a modern rolling machine or coin counter (but on a plus side congrats to the roll hunter who found that one as an ender)
