With all the Android tablets out there and the general consensus that tablet sales will soon surpass laptop sales, it would sure be nice if someone would write a driver for USB digital microscopes for the Android system. If anyone knows of one, please upload the details, thanks.

I've seen a couple that purported to be supported in Android, but they weren't cheap. Drivers would have to be device-specific, of course, so it's only a matter of the manufacturers getting off their butts. The only thing I wonder is whether the average tablet can supply sufficient power over USB.

Ive never seen or heard of a USB scope you could use with a tablet. I know my iPad doesn't have a USB port. I have a desk top I use for pics and such.
