I am a beginner grader, and really would like to focus on getting better at it. This is a coin I had found while coin hunting some nickel rolls. I believe it is graded at EF40 or EF45.

What would you grade it at, and why?

Many more to come!

Thanks!

Sorry but a grade opinion is impossible with those images.

Judging on what I can see, I would grade it EF-40. There seems to be know scratches from what I can see. And for ware, I can see the beavers fur is a little worn. And Elizabeth's hair blends in with the head piece. It's a little hard to see by pictures, but that's my best opinion. It is very good compared to ones I've seen.
And welcome to the site.

Hi Jeffenatrix, Welcome to CCF...

Your pictures are a bit small to give you an accurate grade of your coin.

Post larger photos and we will help you out.
Enjoy the Forum.
