I ordered a mint sheet of Panda's against (Yup's sage advice). Well they arrive today and I have a couple questions. First I expect them to be one solid sheet but it appears to be a sheet cut up into 2 coin parts, is this normal if so I fail to see the value of ordering a sheet. Second I assumed that each coin capsules individual cell would be sealed but they are open at the top where you can just slide the coins in, is that normal. Thanks for the knowledge you are giving me.

Pictures would help. But from the sounds of it, you did not get what you paid for.
I've seen the sheets in person, and it's basically a 5x6 sheet of pandas that are in their capsules, that are more or less vacuumed packed in their own little bubble. I've heard the newer 2012 or 2013 have a harder plastic inside as well.

You mean the sheet inside the plastic is in two pieces, like cut in half? If so, no, that isn't how it is supposed to be. The coins aren't sealed on both sides by the hard plastic. The sheet is essentially a tray that the coins sit it. That is why I order full sheets of 30 to ensure the coins are sealed by the outer plastic. If you ordered 29, they'd have to open that plastic to take out one coin and then none of the remaining coins could be considered sealed at that point.

They are sort of like big coin flips.

Nope, that's definitely not how a sealed sheet looks. Click on the picture in this listing and it will pull up more photos showing a sealed sheet: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-1-oz-S...047675.l2557It looks like you got 30 individual coins that they threw into flips. I wouldn't be too happy if that's what I was sent. Depending on where you ordered from, maybe they bought these from a customer, and this is how they were sent to them. If they had a large quantity, I'm surprised you wouldn't get a sheet.

I would definitely send those back. The sheet should be exactly what you thought it was. It should be sealed, some places may cut them up into individual squares but they will be sealed if they do that. Most places though selling a sealed sheet would probably just send the whole sheet uncut unless that presents shipping problems.

Another question. My experience is the Pandas fit very snug in their capsules. About half of these seem to move around a noticable amount when I shake the capsule. This also has me concerned.

Where did you get these from ? I would review EXACTLY what you bought. If they said a " mint " sheet, that is not what you got. If they just said a " sheet " of Pandas then any thirty in some semblance of a sheet is what you got. Pandas fit into 39mm directfit airtites. I have put them in 40mm ( ASE) airtites before and they move around.

Pandas are often counterfitted, if the capsules and coins are all the same size I have no good answer

The capsules appear to be normal Pandas capsules with curved surfaces and a notch on the side for easy opening. After examing there are no obvious signs of counterfeiting.
