I don't even know if this exists, but there seems to be a small amount of doubling on the left side of column 7, in between the statue and the column. Of course it could also be a die chip or something I am not aware of. I changed cameras to try to get a decent picture, but I am afraid I have failed to show the area with enough detail. If any one has an opinion, in spite of the pics, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Your photos are good. The anomaly is most likely slight doubling of the column. This type of variety was rampant throughout the 2000-2008 LMC. Here is one on the CC website http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds Yours looks a little different. I am not sure if Bob Piazza would think it was significant enough to add to CC. You might drop him an email to see, though I do know he has been very busy lately.

See if you can match it up on CC. There are close to 20 possibilities.

Thanks seal006, would you be able to send me the link in CC for the 2006-p varieties? The date guide I usually use only goes up to 2002 with pictures/markers. I know it's there somewhere but I'm striking out.

Thanks DrDon, it worked perfectly. The education I have received from the people of this forum has been pretty amazing. I didn't find anything that matched it exactly, but there were a couple that were close.

If it is too minor they won't list examples that don't make a certain length of bar.

That is interesting, I may have let one or two slip through my fingers.

Thanks for everyone's input and advice, I appreciate it. I don't think I will be bothering Mr. Piazza with something this minor... now if I find something really, really special, well, that's a whole different kettle of fish.

When I first found out about the 6th and 7th columns being doubled I kept them all...I ended up with 2 full rolls of MS examples of them....since then I have stopped unless it is a decent size. Its a fun hobby. I tend to probably keep to much. lol Happy Hunting!
