Here is something I just found in my pocket change. It has dramatic die polishing on the reverse leaving a comet like gouge behind the Monticello building.

more like a meteor shower but its neat regardless.

I like that! Meteor Shower does make more sense. I can't figure out what the mint worker was trying to polish away? I don't see any clashing on the obverse at all or any other die polishing lines.

Not die polishing, a series of long parallel die gouges is indicative of Feeder Finger Damage on the die.

Finger feeder die gouges looks right. I really appreciate your help guys. I would have just thought it was aggressive die polishing.
