I know you cant order boxes of Eisenhowers, however when a bank ships them out are they withdrawn and destroyed? What becomes of them anyone know? I know in most of my banks the tellers keep them for themselves or save them for people like me but some of them must get shipped out.

The armored carrier will process (count) them and then do one of three things with them;

1. Store them for their own use later
2. Ship them to another company requesting them.
3. Ship them back to the local Fed Reserve bank (managed by Loomis, IIRC).

From what I've seen in five years, my banks never accumulate enough IKEs to ship out, but FTB probably has it right.
