I grew up near the border / We had Canadian change all the time. My Grandfather had a laundromat business and went through a lot of change per week. Since we were close to the border, he collected both US and Canadian coins. The only G5 coins he got were a few G5 dimes and quarters. We never found any other G5 coins ... and this was back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s!
So I consider your finds amazing
Oh - he did once get a Newfie half - but it was G6.
@earle42: I guess I am very lucky. @Cat: The 50C is 1919 very rough condition. I have done less than 20 boxes of quarters and never found a silver let along Canadian silver.
