Ok guys, wanted you to take a look at this one again. Posted a while back. I took new pictures of the coin and am curious of your thoughts regarding strike. We have what appears to be G-4 condition around the rim and AU'ish on the eagles feathers. I know they had issues with the dies, but this one looks a bit insane to me....one of the more interesting coins in my collection.

That looks like a strike issue on the obverse, but does not detract from the look of the coin to me.the reverse looks to be a better strike with a little wear.not my specialty but that's what it looks like.maybe a strike through error?

That was an all around weak strike coin. I don't know that the reverse high points are worn. Look at the low points. They are pretty darn crisp. Even considering they are low points, there would be some wear there as well if there were that much wear on the high points. To me, that looks like an overall AU coin that was originally a truly mushy strike.
