1941 D Walker half for sale, in a holder, looks to have been harshly cleaned but is graded as MS65 by third party grader "ANCS"....then the seller posts this beneath the pic:

ยท "All coins are guaranteed Genuine and Authentic. This coin is not graded by PCGS or NGC. As all collectors know, all grading is objectionable. All grading companies, professionals and collectors have their own grading opinion. We do not insure the grade or that the coin has not been cleaned at one time or another."

I should say that yes, the grading of this item IS objectionable! Ha! Perhaps he meant "objective" but his Freudian slip makes more sense!

I think that I found the ad:

Indeed, a Freudian slip!

Other offerings are nothing to look at as well.

Maybe they should change ANCS to stand for "Ah No, Crap, Slip-up" lol.

I do wish ebay would make these FPG's not allowed to show or mention anywhere in the description whatever faux grade they have assigned to something, considering the rules I believe they already have in place about the mentioning of grades (or not as the case may be) surely this needs to be incorporated?

That's the goal; be patient. It's closer than it was six months ago.

I really do hope so, it's a shame self-slabbing was ever made available in the first place imo as this was one of the obvious fallouts.
