There's a coin show coming to Windsor later this month. I've never attended one and was wondering if it would be worth my while to check it out. Are there usually a number of dealers at these events? Can you usually find coin binders & sleeves, along with 2 X 2 coin holders? I'd like to replace the storage units I'm presently using and also would like to find some missing dates I've been looking to obtain. I know I can get all this stuff online but I'd rather not use the mail.

yes the carry all kinds of accessories ,,as far as getting missing coins from them good luck they are overpriced ,but its worth a shot

Its great to get out and support as many local shows as possible. If we don't support them, then they will stop happening, and the hobby/business shrinks instead of grows. Its a great way of meeting new dealers to aquire new coins for your collection, to see other coins and learn whats new and whats hot. When you go to a show, talk to people, both dealers and other collectors. Shows are a great place to learn stuff.

tfred, you summed up my thoughts perfectly. I agree 100%.

For me, it is perfect place to meet and make friends with other collectors. Some of the rarest and most beautiful Canadian coins I have ever seen, were those being passed around a table at a nearby pub...

I'll have a table at coin expo. I have some nice large cents to show off, a bunch of 1859 double punches and a rare black smith token that I pictured here a while ago. See you all there.
