The face value is the only thing that will be this coin's saving grace from post-production price drop...

Post production price drop? We pay $100. What sort of price drop are you expecting?

I bought two. One for me, and another for a gift.

can someone please explain to me why this is so desirable with a 50,000 mintage ?!! Everyone who wants one of these will be able to purchase one from the mint. With people buying 3 or more, the secondary market will be flooded with these...and in time, the initial hype/excitement will die down. I'm sitting on the fence with this one.

$20 for $20 x 250,000 mintage = $5,000,000
$100 for $100 x 50,000 mintage = $5,000,000

50,000 mintage seems like a better deal.

I bought two,one for me one for one of my kids.
It's appealing IMO

1.First of the series look at every other first.
2. 50k mintage alot less then first 20 for 20 and look how much that sells for now.
3.Just like the 20 for 20 it's a 100 for 100 how can you lose.

Btw neither shipping code worked for me

@ fillurboots, it could be the shipping code has been used up. With free shipping + $100 face value coin = bye bye code...

For this coin in particular it does say "taxes due on shipping fees". I'm guessing that is why they discontinued the free shipping codes for $69 or above. I'm assuming MC members will still get their 'club' benefit of free shipping.
