My fiance and I recently travelled through her childhood home town. She was telling me about this small coin shop she remembered being there. It was still there so we stopped in. For the most part, the shop specialized in American coins, silver, and gold. The only world coins that he had were in a bin on the counter. The owner said that there was not much demand for world coins in his small town. The sign on the bin said 4/$1 and it was crossed out, than 5/$1 crossed out and so on until it was 7/$1. I picked through them for about an hour and came up with this lot that I purchased for, yup 28 for $4. How did I do?

I certainly would have come away with more than $4 at that price. I am having problems seeing the coins in the pics but I think you did pretty good.

Most of the bin was more common stuff. I picked out anything that looked unusual, early, or a country that I did not have. rooneydog, do you have any clue what it would be worth? I have checked the normal sites to see if I could find a price but could not.
