I would finally be able to purchase some gold coins that have always been out of reach to me. I never wanted to buy just for the sake of having a gold coin. I want the highest grade I could get in the earliest dates and probably go with the 2.5 quarters so we could have more than one

I'd probably be silly and put all the cash into the coin roll hunting account. :-)

I'd get about a 1,000,000 1967 canadian cents , (I'd put them in a massive glass jar and stare at them, giggling like a maniac.) The rest would be used to complete a set of canadian silver dollars.

Im with HONDO. Id get a DeepCam DDR 1961 Franklin Proof in the highest Grade everever given. Then I would complete my Franklin Circ and Proof set in 65+ grades and Cameos whenever possible. Anything left would then feed my CRH until it was all used up. If that didnt happen then I would get a CC type set in MS grades and/or finish my MS mints set. Or I would complete my mint and proof sets frpm begining to present Or I would complete my currency set, as far back as I could. So many choices. The coin fairy would probally take it back b4 I made up my mind.

I'd be frustrated as the amount is about US$15000( If I was very lucky) shy of what I'd need to buy my dream coin: An original 1780 Prague mint Maria Theresia Thaler. only two are known to exist one is in the Vienna Art History museum the other is in Vienna held by a collector, the last sale price is rumored to have been €27000,00. The bizarre thing is Krause has, for at least the last 10 years, put the value of that coin at US$450.00. As a consolation prize I'd go for Una and the Lion.

Sorry. Proofs and modern stuff really do nothing for me. Though austrokiwi's thaler or Una, those I can sympathise with! Or, I just realised I could buy this and still be left with a decent chunk of change... Hmm ... if only!

Right now, I think I would buy 4 $100 face value bags of BU Morgans from APMEX, which never seem to go down in price regardless of how low silver spot value falls. Ask me next week, however, and I'll probably have a different answer for you...

I was hoping for the coin fairy last night with the Powerball, but alas now will still have to work for a living. I had my heart set on a complete set of MS Capped bust halve dollars :-)

Quote: @Basebal21: I would get a confederate half dollar I must have missed that one. I was thinking something along the lines of the top right one http://www.johnbhamrickcoins.com/jb...CATEGORY=74. Id actually like everything on that page. Im going to assume a true original would be out of the price range of the 20k

A true original would probably be closer to the $1M level. Ten years later and with all the new super prices that have been paid for rarities a price of a million or more would not surprise me at all.

One monster coin. Ideally a 1796 Half Cent to complete my date set of Half Cents. Of course, that coin would take the whole $20k chunk ... in G4 condition!
