I do like our modern gold coins  Probably because the Mint stuck to a classical design for it. Very nice picture, Catman.

Really fond of gold and currently working on a world gold collection. My budget keeps me in the smaller gold coins but still fascinated by the history and beauty of gold. Always looking...always dreaming of that next great find!!!

Darn the luck Catman!!! I just bought an 1869 Shield nickel that my dealer says is the highest grade raw Shield nickel he has ever seen. Guess I will have to keep my eyes open for some unc. Liberty Head (V) nickels for you. I have backed off the Liberty's as I finally filled my album but I could still use a few up grades on some dates! Just my luck, always buying the wrong stuff! Guess I will just store this away until a rainy day then!
