I found a 2006 Nickle that has no back to it. Now I don't mean a back that was rubbed flat or not printed. This has no "core" I guess you can say. It looks like something fell out of it and it only has the front and the ring with an indented back and what looks like glue residue.

Is this possible? Are the coin solid or in fact pieced together?

From my view the front looks like a real coin but I'm not an expert

Images would be a great aid. There are no layers of clad on nickels. Many things it could be?

The obverse was removed with a Lathe in someones shop.Looks like half of a Magicians coin. You can still see glue residue in the hollowed out side that held in place another obverse that made up a two headed coin

They fit the reverse in place and you can see it from the rim area.

If you're handy you can machine down another nickel and have yourself a sweet Magicians coin.

Some can win you a flip. Some can make it appear as rotated. Some can show two different coins on the same coin. Some can hid internal secrets..
