Hey everyone I am a total newbie when it comes to posting but I have been reading for a couple months now about CRH... Which I am proud to say I am now doing daily YAY! Anyways I thought I'd start a thread and post a couple suggestions to dump your searched coins and turn them into bills for free, So here are my first ideas and please feel free to add on :) 1. Buy something expensive at Walmart, Pay at the self check out with coins proceed to the customer service desk and with receipt and get a Full refund in bill form.... They may not like it but it works hehe 2. This only works for people in states/cities near casinos but they have coin counters for free at most casinos. I know whenever I go up to central city(In colorado) I can take a huge amount of coins to dump 100% free :) Those are the only two I have right now but I am always working on new ideas that involve CRH please let me know any you have and let me know if these helped you at all Thanks :)

I would guess option #1 would only work a few times, eventually the Walmart staff would recognize you. But using the coins to make normal purchases (without getting refunds) would work.

Why not just take them to a bank or credit union? I have several accounts. One I use to buy coins and I have several dump banks that I deposit the coins to after I have searched them. Most banks will readily accept a few hundred dollars in rolled coins especially if you are depositing. Some Credit unions even have a free coin counter to use for deposits.

I also have accounts at several banks and do it that way pretty easily.... I was just throwing out some suggestions for those people out there who have been banned from their dump banks as I Have read on many different threads... I have a petty nice schedule between 3 dump banks that keeps me only going to each one once every 9 days... Oh and as far as Walmart catching on just use em like a rotating dump banks... Do a different Walmart each time to keep the recognition down

Interesting ideas Denver. I am one of those thread posters who put up a thread about my bank "dumping" me! They said there was too much "wear" on their machine and don't count rolls. Also the shipping of the rolls was too much for them. Twas a regional bank. :-(

Also, if you are making purchases from several different websites (Amazon, Sears, JC Penney, iTunes, etc.), Coinstar charges no fee to get a gift code. Paid for my soundbar/subwoofer with $800 in half dollars that way.

Paid for my soundbar/subwoofer with $800 in half dollars that way. Bought a kindle for my wife, and another one for the kids via pennies in a Coinstar. Love Amazon's prices and Coinstar gift codes. Also buy mower blades, a new bathroom faucet, and fertilizer/weed killer via Lowes Gift Codes.

Very creative ideas on dumping coins! My grocery store has a self checkout and I've used some coins there before.

I'm a new CRH (waves to everyone) and I started taking my dumps to the Metro Bank. I'm a member there and they have a coin counting machine to use for free. They don't seem to care how many I put in there. I did $900 in one shot and the teller didn't even blink at the amount. I figure I'll switch between the several Metro banks in the area so any one of them doesn't get annoyed with me. Thankfully I know a teller at the one location so I know I'll always be welcome there.

Hey hopeless,
Welcome to the CRH fun. Just to clarify, it's not always hard to find ways to dump your coins. Some people have limited ways to dump and these provide some more interesting ideas.

Talking with a couple of gals at my normal order location, and they I'd it was cool if I wanted to dump in their self-service machine. I was stunned, but they said someone else orders pennies through them and dumps there as well. Still don't think I'd be comfortable dumping too much there, but it's nice to know I could do a bit if I needed.
