came across this coin while cleaning around today, had it since I was a kid.

This coin looks similar to an Egyptian coin I have, below is a site on a similar coin of a lower denomination. Has the same eagle and writing on it.

You also find this eagle on coins of Syria and the Arab Republic. For 1975 however Libya is the only candidate.
