gxseries Pillar of the Community Australia 3831 Posts	Posted 05/20/2013 07:43 am Obtained this coin and the seller identifed it as Sinkiang 1886 1/2 miscal. Not idea if it is right but thought I ask the question here. On the other hand, I managed to restore this coin partially. A rather scarce coin from Uighurstan which didn't last more than a year in 1933. It was a place that tried to declare independence, only to get brutally crushed by the Chinese army. This has been in olive oil for more than ONE year, if not close to two years and have changed the oil quite regularly.
