I believe that I see doubling on the Obverse on most of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST. There may also be something going on with the Mint Mark. On the Reverse - at least 5 letters in E-PLURIBUS UNUM appear to have doubling. What kind of doubling might this be?
Thanks for any help.
Pete

Looks like the worst of die world.
The obverse looks like VLDS. The mint mark is just showing evidence of the extreme wear along with other devices on this side. There is also Machine Doubling.
The reverse appears there is some Machine Doubling and a possible chip on the you in the arrow.
With all that in mind, I would return this one to circulation.

You've reached the point now of not missing things while searching. If there is nothing there, you would have seen it. But when the right coin comes under your scope that is a doubled die, you will know it instantly. The eye go through a period of adjustment with the mind. At first you see nothing. Then you start to find some varieties, but eventually you get to your point where you can see what is possible. But when there is nothing on that coin, move on to the next. I went through that as well. I know where you are.
