Wow. I like the one with the tigers, (India, I suppose). You should try doing this with the Cayman Islands coins.

Richard, could you give us an idea how long a blade lasts on various compositions? Every time you post a new design, I get an inch closer to ordering.

It depends on the coin detail more than the composition. The blades can last for several coins or several blades per coin. Most blades are tungsten carbide and tend to get very brittle after a lot of use the faster you saw the hotter the blade gets and the shorter its life. The other issue is that softer metals such as silver block the teeth and you lose the sharp cutting edge then you need to apply more pressure, which also shortens the life. So cutting style determines blade life not the coin type. Size is also a factor. a 4/0 blade will last longer then an 8/0. But an 8/0 will allow a finer cut.
