Welcome to Coin Community, AJ. I'm in Jersey too.

This is a known variety, LM-10, I think, the most common of them. I have to say I think it's seen just a *slight* bit of circulation; the eagle's head and neck hint that way, as does the obverse clasp. With that said, the pics are not_quite_clear enough for me to be certain. In any event, it's a glorious addition to any collection.

Prices on these tend to wander, because they require an audience of dedicated collectors to achieve what they're truly worth. My gut requires me to call this one something like AU56.5, and assign a value of about $250+, but if you're of the opinion (in-hand) that this is an Uncirculated coin I won't argue the point. It would be far easier to image outside the 2x2.

Edit: Joseph7420, that "S" is known with other LM-10's. It's filled; that very small piece of the die mostly broke off.

I can see it grading AU-55 or 58. A beauty!

Beautiful coin! As already noted this looks like a slider that could go high AU or low MS. If it is MS and grades 63 or 64 you have a very valuable coin. Even as an AU piece it is very, very nice.
