When I on occasion had a coin like that, I would soak it in a solution of regular liquid dish detergent (ie: Sunlight) and warm water and let it sit a bit. Maybe a solution of 1/5 detergent to water and then take an old soft toothbrush and remove as much of the accumulated crud from the devices as easily came out. Rinse well in warm water after and dry completely while pressing with a soft cloth.
Sometimes you see some hidden luster when the dirt and/or black crud was removed. You weren't changing the grade by that either. I also did that on some of cruddy and lower graded nickles too.
Never rub hard or back and forth,.. just poke the brush into the devices and watch the little dirty pieces fall away. If there is corrosion, then it probably won't help the visuals of the coin much.
