1960-D, What's Going On With The "9", The "6" And "Berty"?

I can't seem to do it justice with my camera, but there seems to be a "9" within a "9" and a "6" within a "6" in this 1960-D LMC and "BERTY" is all messed up. Also, the designer's initials are doubled. If you can see it, could you please let me know what might be going on? Is it possible for this to be a slightly different die stage of the 1960D-1DO-001? Several of the markers seem to match. What do you all think?

On a side note: The only thing I am asking for for Father's Day is a USB microscope... and I have 4 kids so the odds are good!

I feel it is just Die Deterioration.

1960 D small date, looks normal to me.

I see the line on the 6 but your coin is not a DD.I don't think it's Die Deterioration either.Maybe ejection doubling?

All the 1960 small dates have the mark on the inside loop, just like that.
