Hi
I have this 1996 American penny and I am by no means a pro with American pennies...The left side of the penny has a normal rim around it, but the right side has the face of the coin equal to or above the rim..As though it was created at an angle...can you tell me what kind of irregularity this is..?

Could be slightly off center or a MAD mis-aligned die. It does not look like a collectible one unless the reverse is more off center.

It is a mis-aligned die, a very slight one at that. As stated in numerous other threads, these really do not start to pick up value until devices start falling off the edge.

I don't know if it's a MAD or OC without seeing the reverse.
