Would this be considered a ' Wide AM'? It is a 1999 Lincoln Cent (and I know., in POOR condition).

hard to tell without a bit more of the coin to see. look at the second "T" in state. the wide "AM" has the "T" evenly spaced between the "A" and "E". the normal or Close AM - the tee is spaced closer to the "A". you should be able to determine from that.

Noviscoin, to confirm the WAM a picture of the reverse is needed to show the FG position. "The FG should be closer to the base of the Memorial building."
Quote from "Strike it Rich" by Ken Potter & Dr. Brian Allen.
Looks like a Wide AM in the picture.

dbrablec - Thanks for the 'tip'. The 2nd 'T' IS closer to the 'A'. So.., I reckon NOT a Wide AM. Thanks also to bpoc1!

Just back off a little to include the "E" in "AMERICA". If the "M" is evenly spaced between the "A" and "E" it is the WAM.
