I was searching a roll of 1941-s circulated Jefferson nickels when I came across a large and small date mint mark. I looked up this variety in the CherryPickers Guide and on page 307 it is listed as a variety I would just like to pass this on to other nickel collectors as something to look for if you did not know of this variety.
It's actually called the large and small mintmark...not the large and small "date" mintmark. Large date and small date are terms used for a difference in the size of the date itself.
