This is how I'm keeping my ATB's. Anyone else have a similar setup? The unmarked tubes between other marked tubes are mints for that coin that I do not have yet. Let me know what you think or simply if you don't care at all! lol Also, they're in alphabetical order. Edited by mindsets 06/03/2013 12:57 am

You're gonna need a heavy duty box if you get those rolls even half full. Not a bad idea though.

with FTB, and maybe a P-Touch to make labels for the tube tops? Have fun filling those guys! If I may ask, what's the driver for tying up that much cash in quarters?

I think you're right haha. It's kinda heavy now and the box is becoming misshaped. I just got the tubes the other day though (tubes came in the box) Whats annoying is that some of the certain locations and mints are needing or soon needing more tubes for that one mint/location, like my yosemite P. O well, all part of the fun I guess. Thanks FtB. At CK, idk lol. Just having fun and it's better than what I used to blow money on.

If you filled 'em all, that's $1k in quarters... should weigh right around 48lbs.

Yeah, you need better labels. And you should upgrade to a wooden box. Preferably a rosewood or sandalwood case with gold or platinum inlay.

I think you should build one. But remember, it's going to be heavy!

I started a simple book (one per year, no differentiation for mint) and have done a poor job of keeping the extras. I just found 11 today, so I better figure it out quickly!

I started out doing a set up like yours ... with State Quarters. And yes when that box gets full it too heavy for that type of box. I don't have pictures on this computer, but now I use coin storage boxes from Wizard coin supply http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pro...orage-boxes/They hold 50 rolls and are designed to hold the weight. I use one box of 50 for "P" mint and one for "D" mint Also I have blue boxes for State Quarters and orange for ATB's. I also have a third box for "S" mint ATB business strike quarter. A friend gave me some labels from office depot that can be printed on your computer/printer. Round labels that fit right on top of tubes ... use alcohol to clean the top of tubes so labels will stick better. With this set up there will be the 2009 quarters, 12 rolls, and 12 rolls of ATB Quarters, that will need storage. For these I use 10 roll quarter boxes. There will also be room for at least 10 rolls in the "S" mint ATB box.

Well whatever works for you but find yourself some wooden boxes if you can....Have you ever seen the wooden boxes those small oranges come in believe it or not they do work. Also cigar boxes work and you would be surprised the sizes they come in. But you really need to use boxes if you can find em and have a cupboard with strong shelves in which to place em along with a P-Touch labeler and for any moisture or humidity check out Pringi.com I use them and reccommend them as well.

GR58, Are those 50 roll quarter storage boxes good and sturdy? I was looking to build a nice box but your link shows those boxes and I would just get 2 of those if you'd recommend them. They'd certainly be cheaper. Thanks.

mindsets, those boxes are designed to hold up to the weight of 50 rolls. If you do not mind having a lid, I would buy one box and use the bottom part as you are supposed to. Then take the lid and put inside of it a section of the dividers from the box you got the tubes in a 5x10 slot section, and place it inside the lid. Now you have two topless boxes for the price of one.

My BU rolls from 2009-up are in metal cash boxes (with the cash drawers removed), one for each year.
