I went on E-Bay to see the going rate for a 2013 S Proof Silver Roosevelt dime. This seems to be the average going rate.

I know the seller prices it by market and value, but what is your personal opinion.

If you like it buy it! At least that is how I always justify it to myself.

At least there is free shipping!! lol.

Yeah I'm buying a few more silver proof sets here soon. This year's presidential set is pretty good with Teddy and Wilson. I love this year's ATB Quarters.

The only problem I had with my proof set was on the case there was an inch long scratch over my silver dime and some dust in the presidential case making Wilson look like he sneezed. But the coins are very nice, love the mirror like reflection off the Kennedy. Too bad there is a very very small hair attached to the inside case (not on the coin) that reflects off the silver! ugh.

Was going to send it back but it would cost $10 to ship back/forth to get one back and the set only cost 60. So I'll buy a few more and if any problems come up, I'll ship em back.

But yeah, that's too high. What would the Kennedy cost at that rate? How about that 1 panel of the set?

But thank goodness for capitalism.

You might be able to get it if you look around for under $5, there's not even a 1/10th oz of silver in the dime. For comparison, I've been paying between $6-$7.50 each for the '13 ATB silver quarters, but they are going to mint less of the silver dime and silver half dollar than the silver quarters, and the seller might have based his pricing on the low mintage '12s.

Don't buy at that price. Two of them just went off at auction for $5-$6. One dealer is offering 4 different dates for $10. There is a PCGS graded PR69 "Buy it Now" for 9.95. Take your time and search a little better. My search brought up 230 of them to choose from. Most with free shipping because you can ship them in a small envelope for a .46 cent stamp.

Just my opinion.

I just went on e-bay and did not see any 2013 silver roosies for less than 8.95 Buy it Now auction. The other auctions are days away from being over so If anyone has a lead please let me know.
Thanks

There are quite a few going off in the next few hours but not buy it now. Why dont you just bid on a coin instead of using buy it now. It would be a lot cheaper. There are a number of NGC graded ones going for less than $10 at auction. One is a PR70 I'm looking at myself now at 6.99 with only a few hours to go. Whatever you do good luck.

I think PR-70 is overated for NGC 2013 dimes. I wouldn't bid on one, just my opinions.

What is it that you think is overrated for an NGC PR70 that's selling for less than he was going to pay for an ungraded raw coin? I'm telling him he can buy a graded proof about as cheap as an ungraded one. I can guarantee a few years from now that NGC will be worth twice the raw coin value. Plus he will always know his coin is genuine. Plus it will be in a top-line holder. What is overrated about all that! My thought to him is bid on coins not just do a "Buy it Now" which is the way he seems to be leaning.

My opinions only

I wasn't trying to say don't bid on a NGC one. I was just saying NGC PR-70's don't carry much premium, only PCGS's 70's sell better. I am sorry about the misunderstanding.
