Can anyone comment on the authenticity of these 2 coins?

I went ahead and bought a complete set off of ebay and unfortunately these 2 look worse than the auction picture while they were in the antique album.

I'm a total newbie myself but I can comment that on a good note both mintmarks imo seem to have the depression by the mintmark that most real ones have.

No red flags from me. I would take a good look and double check that the pieces you got are the ones in the pics though if you think they are worse than you originally thought.

Here is an old post comparing a fake contemprary Chinese 32D with a real coin.

Unfortunately those are my crappy pics.

The ebay auction just showed each page and didn't have supersize option for the photos.

I guess I will be content with them for the time being until I find a better to upgrade someday.

They seem okay to me, I see nothing to make me immediately suspicious.

Jack, first the coins look great to me. Second, Earle, thank you for posting the older thread. It seems everyday I'm learning and hearing more about fake coins. They seem to be getting more and more difficult to identify. AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH !!

They both look OK but for me, I'd spend a little more money on trying to upgrade those two.
