I concur that it doesn't look like any coin I'm familiar with. I suspect it's a class of object known as a "temple token", though that's a bit of a misnomer for this particular coin, since Muslims don't have "temples". Think of it as either a lucky charm, or a religious amulet. Items like these might be given to folks at weddings, or when they set off on the Hajj to Mecca.

Not sure what the price of it would be. That would depend on how old it is, and what it's made of. These items were normally made from brass obtained from melted-down Chinese cash coins.
