"PCGA" is just another person who is slabbing coins in his basement with $2 CoinWorld slabs. Sorry, but that's the harsh truth. Depending on what the reverse looks like, I'd say you overpayed by quite a bit, since the obverse looks no better than a 62-63 coin.

Welcome to Coin Community, Snookless. I hate for this to be my first words to you, but, yes, you've just been had. If, and I mean if, that coin is Uncirculated, it will grade no better than MS62 or so. Furthermore, that seller has no stated return policy.

Great looking coin but I'd agree with the others when I'd say you've been had. The main grading companies that the majority of people here trust are PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG. Normally ranked in that order but not always.
All I could find for PCGA was
Pakistan Cotton Ginners' Association & Physically Challenged Golf Association
More then likely it is someone in their basement doing this like fengk said. They specifically called themselves psgA to mimick pcgS.

Welcome Snookless. I certainly don't mean to beat a dead horse, but a lot of folks, including myself, have done the same thing. My only suggestion when buying slabs from someone other than the top three, is to automatically take 3-5 points off of the grade and then check your price list. If it's somewhere close, you can then "Consider" purchasing it. Remember, you can always ask for more photos to help you. Also take note to reference semi-accurate pricing. If you use PCGS.com, be aware that the pricing in there reflects the top pricing paid for a coin, not the current market. If I need a quick price and I don't have another book lying around, I will usually find it closer looking at the pricing that is one point lower than what is online. Unless it is a key coin. completed auctions on teletrade and Heritage will also give you current market value. Teletrade is very up to date on a lot. Not to write a book here, but last years RedBook has an 1891 in MS-63 at $190. While the RedBook is far from perfect, it is close. It also lists MS-65 at $6700. How good of a deal did you think you were getting? Common sense has to take over at some point. Be careful not to get auction fever... This was a relatively small mistake, and hopefully you can return the coin. Remember, we are all here to help. You can take pictures from potential auctions you are considering and post them here in the coin grading section to get opinions.

If it makes Mint State, and I have some doubts the best I would call it is a 62 (Normally I will not even grade from a computer imeage) Theire is no way it would come anywhere close to a 66. The intire field in front of the portrait is full of bagmarks, and I see "gray" areas on the coin that could be photographic artifacts, or they could be light wear. If it is wear then you are talking an Au coin worth maybe $40.
PCGA is one of the recent fly-by-night companies.

Okay, I have a lot of experience with these third party graded coins. I have bought them and sold them before I knew what this was all about. First, I need to see a better picture of the obverse.
Another thing, the coin is BU, but does have some bag marks on the obverse and is definetly NOT MS66. I'm goind out on a limb and grading this coin MS62-MS63 and these two grades are important because it is hte difference between you being ripped off or just barely sqeeking through the deal.
So, please post a better pic of the reverse without "slab glare".
